I got home a little earlier today. I was walking down the sidewalk, about halfway home when a car passed me, and I noticed the woman at the wheel look back at me and slow her car down. I couldn't tell who it was because of the tinted windows, but then when I got up to the car, which had stopped, I saw that it was an ex-co-worker, who offered me a ride the rest of the way home. I wasn't going to turn that down.
Once home, I grabbed the groceries that were at the front door, put away some and then got some ready to take to church tonight. While I was still at work, I got a text message saying my groceries had been delivered. The delivery window they gave was something like one to four. I was hoping that they would come on the later end, but thankfully there wasn't anything that I ordered that was super perishable, plus the bags were in the shade.
I got the things ready to go to church that were going to go, and now I'm going to go change and then go get the mail.
As for work, before I left one of the babies started crying--loudly--and succeeded in waking most everyone else up.
I hated to leave my boss with that.
The baby who did all the loud crying won't be there tomorrow, if I remember correctly, so everyone else should be able to sleep.
Right now I'm going to go get ready for church, and then go and get the mail.
I hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
