Lili is one of those friends that I´ve had for decades. Although she is almost 20 years younger than myself, we got along perfectly well at the university at first and then, as she is a writer, reading what each other had written. Her husband I a doctor is Physics and he is a very interesting person to tslk to about other kind of things. He is also a great fan of the soccer club where my late husband used to play so he idolized my husband and his chums. I remember that once he asked me (he was already an important professor at the university) to invite him when a had a barbecue with my husband´s chums so that he could "touch" them I feel that Lili is my little sister as she has no family left. Today she called me. I hadn´t heard of her for a long while. We had both been ill at different times during the pandemia and I had only seen them once. Today she called me and we talked for over an hour. She will invite me as soon as possible because an hour is too small a time to fill in all the gaps of over 2 years. We would have go on talking but her husband arrived from work for lunch so she quickly said "love U, baby" and hung up. BTW, I walked all the time we were talking. I did part of my therapy today
