Situated in the Black Forest area, Germany. The Drubba Flock Factory is famous for its hand made cuckoo clocks.
The building is in the form of a cuckoo clock that is in working condition We were there around twelve noon when the cuckoo clock struck twelve - the sound it made is still ringing in my ears and the dolls danced too.
They have a collection of more than 300 original cuckoo clocks. I bought a clock in its original wood colour. It worked for a few years and then gave up.
Have you been to Germany?

What are you doing with so many cuckoo clocks. Are they all in working condition?

@allknowing I have started collecting them again. I sold many of them years ago and want to get more now. All but one works.

@velvet53 That is the problem with cuckoo clocks. Mine stopped working too.
Collecting clocks seems to be your hobby

I found that to be a cute shop that had a homely atmosphere.

@allknowing They knew their stuff and even found us someone to repair our clock if we ever need it repaired in a town close to us in Connecticut. I loved the big clock outside

Oh my gosh I would absolutely love to visit there. I don’t own any but have always loved those clocks. In the Adirondacks I think it was a shop has about 50 of them around the room maybe more. My grandfather had one sitting on a hutch of my grandmothers.

I have not but I have to give Germany credit for their precision making of things, autos and beautiful clocks.

I've never been to Germany but when my brother was in the army he was stationed in Germany
He brought me a cuckoo clock which was beautiful and it worked for many years. Even after it stopped cuckooing I kept it hanging as it was so pretty
