Been getting them lately. Started in January and it went away but now have one in my right eye and is hard to see. I plan on seeing ophmologist but getting time off from work is hard as recently changed jobs so no sick time yet. Wondering if there is any home remedy to clear them but topical not consumption. I wanted to try teabags on the eye but not sure it will work. if anyone has ideas, would like to know. thx.

Floaters are usually caused because you've rubbed your eyes too hard. They will gradually disappear on their own. You need to see a doctor if they cause loss of vision, you see flashes of light with the floaters or if this is the first time you've ever seen eye floaters. There is no home remedy to make them go away faster.

Hello! Floaters in the eyes can have different causes, so it's best to consult an ophthalmologist for professional advice and treatment. At home, you can try doing eye exercises to relieve tension and improve blood circulation, which may help reduce the number of floaters. However, if the floaters persist and bother you, it's best to see a doctor. Do not take any remedies without a doctor's recommendation.

External treatments do nothing to cure eye floaters, you need laser surgery if those are really annoying. I ignore them.
