Been co-caretaking for my aged parent for a year now (or 2?)...
But it is actually longer than that, I can't remember what year exactly she had been sick, but it was only a year now or 2 that it has been a real committed obligation
and the longer it goes ( i mean the longer she lives bedrriden) the harder it becomes
and im tired and it is affecting my health, physical, emotional, etc
i never expected ineed to care for an ill aged parent when i also have so many other obligations and worries, things I havent done in my own life.. concurrrent with this is the threats of some of helpers (sister and other family members) becoming sick or otherwise unavailable to bear the other burdens in the family.

This is really a tiring thing, but we still have to stick to it

I agree. And that because it only happens once. That time is only once. Glad that I did it.. though have some regrets about some things I couldnt at that time..
