Goa has several beaches but a special mention needs to be made about the Miramar Beach. What is special about this beach is its shore - a vastness of sand that to get to where the water is it will take several minutes. It was years ago that I had visited Goa and stayed in Yatri Nivas that is touching this beach. Those days I did not find it difficult to walk that distance to dip my feet in the water but now I think it will only be just looking at the vastness as my legs will not permit me to cover the distance There are spots where one can relax and breathe in fresh air and watch the revelers having fun Are you a beach lover? I have never been a beach lover. I always liked a lot more walk in the woods, or along a river, as we did today for many kilometers.

@allknowing Today it was woods, we wanted to see if you could reach a village on the top of the hill through a pathway in the woods. We did.

Beaches are beautiful and I love to look for shells and things that wash up but I don’t like to stay long unless I have a book to read. My husband would stay all day though and just stare at the water.

@allknowing yep I agree. I got rid of most of mine. My daughter just gave a whole bag of shells to her co worker to make summer displays fit the store in the upcoming months.

I too have enjoyed beach combing. But those collections collect dust sadly not knowing what to do with them.

Yes, I'm a beach lover and that's the main reason why we are in Florida. I love to walk on the beach, swim, wade, and read. I feel badly that you can no longer walk to the water.

You must be able to see the beach from where you live in Florida. I have never had a swim in the sea.

@allknowing Yes, we see the Intercostal and have a view of the ocean. If we couldn't be around water, we'd be home.

Beaches can indeed be wonderful places for rest and relaxation. Most people enjoy the sound of the waves, the fresh sea air, and the sand between their toes. I love beaches...

That is a lovely beach area. Our favorite beach is a few hours away from here, we always stop there on our way to and from going up north. We usually visit it about twice a year.
