Okay so I had the most wonderful interview last week for my DREAM JOB. Great pay, great hours, great everything. I sent a thank you e-mail to the Manager and I sent a follow up email with the HR recruiter saying "thanks so much bla bla and if you could please let me know when the position has been filled" type of thing. Well, the HR recruiter emailed me this morning.... Sadie, Actually you were on my list to call this morning. I would like to bring you into my office for a brief overview of what XXXXX is about and review some policies and then I will report back to XXXXX when I am finished and she will then make her decision. Please feel free to give me a call at XXXXX to schedule an interview. Thank you for following up with XXXXX. Does this just sound like the manager is narrowing down more....am I over reading... is this a good sign??? I left her a message and am just waiting for a call BACK! aaack!

This is a good sign. What they want to do is get a feel for you and make sure that you are a fit for the company. They are just covering themselves in the hiring process because they would not want to hire someone who is not going to fit in well with the environment or the people that are already working there. By the end of that meeting they will most likely make you an offer and give you some time to think about it. I wish you all the best!

Thanks for the kind words! I am trying not to get too excited or get my hopes up ya know! But it's better than not getting an email at all I suppose! job searching is just so hard and frustrating and a glimmer of hope makes all the difference!!

It is especially hard with the job market being so thin right now too.
