Hulla Hoop

It was a rage during my childhood days but I must admit I could never handle a hulla hoop. There were competitions conducted and I was only a spectator. All this because mother discouraged us as she warned there could be accidents. Some of you must have been experts at it. How has your experience been? If one gets into it as a child one can surely become experts. Do share your experience. Image credit:

I could do it when I was young, but I've tried several times lately and I can't get it going. Even with small children giving me pointers.

I thought I did it as a child, but as an adult it sure does not happen. We also had small ones we could twirl around our wrists and ankles. Now they sell them for fitness, with weights built in.

Jeepers accidents from thar? Never heard of that. I was very good at it! I could do it around my hips forever. I could do one on each arm and one around my neck. Not all at the same time just my arms at the same time.

It looks really easy but it is not. As a young kid, I knew how to do hula hoop but not anymore unfortunately.

I do not know what the Irish have but I am sure the Irish also would have played with the hulla hoop. Strange that you hips do not move They are supposed to groove (lol)
