Feeling A Little Lonely

Andrea and I are mostly long distance over the weekdays but we always have time to talk over the phone after work. Today he has a work dinner to attend to and it looks like a long one. I am happy he is socialising but I realise how much time I have left if we do not talk every night. It is actually quite lonely as it seems my world has become a little too small and a little too Andre filled. I tried playing with my phone and watching a movie but it's not the same. I guess I may need to start a new hobby or craft.

If you ever know the two of you will be separated for a period of time, you could record several short videos of him so that you can play them back when he is not there with you. I know it's not the same as speaking to him in person or over the phone, but it will at least get you a chance to "see" him when he's not around.

Well normally when my mind is conditioned I do not mind him being away. But it was a random dinner so I was not mentally prepared. I was quite excited cause I had day off the next day which meant we could talk longer but that didn't happen unfortunately. So I guess I was upset because of the broken routine. I do have tiny videos of him but it is different from talking. Maybe I'm just really clingy.

@moffittjc Yeah I just hate the feeling of being immature but feelings cannot be controlled unfortunately.

@flapiz You’ve told me many times in the past that you are clingy! Haha. But that’s okay, there’s nothing wrong with that if the other person likes to be close to you all the time.

Having a new hobby will definitely help.

@flapiz true.
You don't want to be dependent to to other people.

It's not easy to adjust to a different situation when you are already comfortable with one. You need to adjust if you can't still be together. I think you can pass on boredom by just surfing the net.

@flapiz I am sorry you have to feel that way. Would there be other situation that's favourable to you? Maybe you can talk it over with him, and let out your feelings what you want.

It was a momentary episode of loneliness. I think he has kept me good company so yeah I missed him a lot during his absence.

I have a sketch book for some freehand painting. It might end up being abstract as I am not very good at painting.

Yeah it is a bit sad to be codependent with someone who is a flight away.
