We are still primitive...

...I don't know what to say but people here are still uneducated and fools.
My younger brother has a daughter and his wife was pregnant but the couple wants a son this time. They had the prenatal test and aborted a foetus of 3 months.
I am sorry for the people who think having a daughter is a burden. How can someone murder a baby?
I am in a state of shock.

I very much doubt it was her choice but some women do really believe in that stuff so you never know.

@Mike197602 This is what many Chinese women did during the "one child" times and now China lacks women.

@LadyDuck I knew about selective abortion I just didn't know it was an issue here but it is.
The annoying thing there is little one person can do and as a male there is some push back from a certain group.
I've just sent an email to my MP so we'll see if I get anything back.

Second response...people need to start electing politicians that'll put a stop to this sort of sh1t.
It goes on in India and other places and when people come over here they carry on the same practice and our politicians are too scared of being called racist to stamp it out.
Same as honour killings and forced marriages they need to stop.

@RebeccasFarm It's abbreviated as FGM here in the UK and there is a major awareness of it and it's a thing in the CPS which is like your DA and hospitals are trained to recognise it as are social service departments.
It happens and again the race thing is an issue in my opinion.
I could say loads about this issue but generally I'd be labelled far right or alt right when I am not either of those things I'm centre right and far left in some ways
I might do a discussion on political persuasions as we've now got a pretty fair admin.

@RebeccasFarm 4 months baby is almost developed and aborting it means you are killing someone.

@Sojourn
Unfortunately many doctors still manage to do it illegally.
Or some people even go to Bangkok or other places to get it checked.
And those getting it done are mostly educated folks!

No doubt the number of girls are decreasing in India. People going for female foeticide should be jailed.

I have to tell you such a case is very common in China rural area.most of farmers want son more than daughter. If first baby was a daughter,it's most likely to abort about second daughter here.Although i disagree to such case, this circumstance still was widespread here.

@sjvg1976 ,very much rural family think the same thing that their family tree will cut off without a son, they hope son to extend own family. But a daughter will marry to other familys and become a member of other familys. This is why they want son more than daughter.
