I just met up with one of my friends from a couple years back and she looks defeated. She was always so bubbly and full of life and promise but she just looks the total opposite. I had heard through the grapevine that she was being abused by her boyfriend but I feel like now I can see it.
It honestly hurts my heart but I don't even know how to react or help considering she hasn't said anything about it to me nor have I seen her after our interactions, and she's not answering my calls nor texts. Saddening really.

Oh, maybe she's shy or something. But I hope she'll learn and have courage to open up and just leave or breakup with her partner. I myself could not stand seeing one, I become too frustrated for that person for giving their partner or anyone the chance abuse them.

My own daughter was psychologically abused by her partner and the father of her last child and I could not do anything about it. My eldest granddaughter had to call her to her house after one episode and she could her her that it was time she stopped it. Later on, after she had shown the door of her house to her BF, she was over a year in therapy. It is not easy.

It is a horrible way to live and it is also dangerous.
