Ant fight?

I was busy making bracelets the other night when I noticed these two black ants in front of me. They were too tiny so I used my macro lens to take a better picture of them.
Looking closer, I noticed that one ant's feet was in the mouth of the other and it doesn't want to let go. They were even rotating as they were fighting and I was so fascinated as it's my first time witnessing such. I thought ants don't fight and just busy saving and working for foods just like the famous kids story said.
Life is really full of wonders, we just need to look around and appreciate them.

You got a good picture of the two ants.
If ants are from two different colonies, they will fight and try to kill each other. Normally, when they discover each other, they run back to their colony to get more ants so you see a big fight instead of just two ants fighting.

You really captured an amazing picture. I didn't think ants fought either but I guess they do. Makes you wonder what they were fighting about
