So I got a phone call telling me how much each doctor will be that I have to see. I almost broke down when I heard the price and was freaking out on how this will get paid. She told me I can apply for assistance through the blessing system. That the place my surgery will be done.
After all that I went and talked to hubby (PJ) and was still kinda freaking out. He said it will be fine and we'll get it paid.
Still can't believe how much these doctors are!

I know... I kept worrying when I was told how much one shot was going to cost for my allergies and I have to have the shots once a month... Insurance didn't want to pay it all but I applied for assistance through my doctor's office and the cost is being covered completely for now...

@porwest I understand that they just can't give it away, but they should make it somewhat cheaper. I will admit I do get help, but when it comes to these specialists I have to see my insurance don't cover it.

@hillhjill The care would not be worth it if people weren't willing to pay for it, so even if you could do it, it wouldn't be worth anything. Hospitals have operating costs and they can't just give things away. It doesn't work that way.
In societies where the government pays the bills, you might as well just die because the care sucks.

Thank you and the surgery is covered, it's the social worker, psychiatrist and dietitian I have to pay for.

I will most definitely get help being low income, it's just crazy how much these doctors cost.
