Hello and welcome to another 99% horribly miserable St. Patrick's Day here in the Neon Fun Jungle. It's cold (30F, -1C) and windy. There's a layer of snow on the ground but it's way too thin and dry for snowmobiling, building a snow fort or even having a snowball fight. "Sir," I hear you saying, "That's pretty terrible. I don't see how it could be any worse. So why isn't it a perfect 100% horribly miserable St. Patrick's Day?" That's a brightly shrewd assessment but sit down in that chair right there and I'll show you the one thing you overlooked. Traffic. There was none. It must be Steve Winwood's day off. I know this because I had to drive into Hooterville this morning for provisions, AKA Gas and Cigarettes. I took the Junior Samples Expressway and it was empty. The usual seconds-long tie-ups, which are commonly minutes long on a big holiday like this, were completely absent. I thought I was just lucky but then I turned on the radio and Clara Clear-Road, the WNFJ (The Neon Fun Jungle's #1 All-Hit Station) Traffic Girl, told me that it didn't matter which road I took. The Millard Fillmore Tollway (They haven't charged a toll on it since 1952 but they still call it a Tollway. If you can explain that, or any of the other strange things they do in this nutty valley, please do) was empty, too. As was the Soybean Corners Skyway, which becomes the Pixley Skyway at 172nd Street. It's the same cotton-pickin' highway! Why does it need two names??? So, that's why it's not a 100% horribly miserable St. Patrick's Day. With that in mind, let's go to 1963, and see what the Cosmic Universal Anthem Song Of The Month Club Song For Today is. ************** Clancy Lowered the Boom

Dont ask me. I have to forget names of the streets and roads to find my way around. I just follow my nose. It always gets me where I’m going

I do that a lot, too. Sometimes, it works for me.

@xander6464 Even though Dennis Day is before my time, I really enjoyed his song.

@Deepizzaguy That's not a big deal because he's timeless.
