Dental Care Is Expensive.

A part of my son's tooth chipped off yesterday. Since it is in the front teeth area, my son got conscious and wants to have it fix right away. So we are now at a dental clinic. Funny thing is, when you are at a dental clinic, they will you all the things needed to be done on your teeth. They will tell you certain price when you inquire and yet when are there, other prices and names of the process to be done will come out. I should've studied how to be a dentist.

yes it is really expensive... But I heard it is still a bit cheaper here compared to the dental services abroad. Some of my relatives, when they come home, they already avail these services because they say it is more expensive there.

I have never thought of it from your point of view. This actually makes sense. We should come up with a solution for this.

It is years since I have been to a Dentist and that does not mean I do not need one The fact of the matter is I have decided not to replace teeth that need replacement. (lol)

@rakski It is not about price for me as I get reimbursed but I have decided to accept the fact that as one ages one has to live with fewer teeth and dentures is not my choice.

Yes, dental work of any kind is expensive for many people. Even having a cavity filled costs a lot more than people think. All the more reason to take really good care of our teeth. Hope your son's tooth is fixed alright.

It is his third time and first time with anesthesia. Beforehand, I informed the dentist of my son. Fortunately, my son is very cooperative now compared 3years ago. The dentist explained to him what she will do. That is important so he will understand

Indeed dental services are expensive. I just had my grandkids' teeth fixed I spend almost 10K and there are still many things to be done. I have to visit the dentist myself but still cannot do so. I hope everything went well with your son, and he's satisfied with the result. Take care.
