Yeah, Roscoe might be a smidge spoiled. When I'm eating my dinner I sometimes have cheese and I'll give him a piece or two but no more than that. This boy of mine thinks he can run the show and I'll let him ..... ummm, not on my watch he won't. So to show me he disapproves here's what he does, he thinks he's so tough, HA!!

He does that sometimes and especially when I'm on the phone, I think he's either jealous or wants his time on the phone too.

He was pissed that I wouldn't give him more cheese. He thinks he can get really close to me when I'm chowing down and when I told him to move he started this BS. He does that sometimes, he's a lot more vocal than other pups I've had.

We always spoiled our pets too, now we just have the twins to spoil, no pets in our lives these days.

He is the type that could become dangerous if I spoiled him too much, he needs a firm hand to keep him level headed for now. Maybe when he's 3 or 4 he'll be calmer.

Yes, exactly like that. He's still more or less considered a puppy so this will be happening now and then but he is also vocal and likes to talk.

Oh, I guessed he was cussing me out for not giving him cheese ..... it's his temper tantrum but thankfully he's over 2 now and it's not happening as often.

He is a mixed breed of Belgium Shepherds and perhaps other breeds as well. He is very vocal with me so this kind of behavior does not frighten me.

You really have to know your dog and with Roscoe I know it's simply that he wants me to give him control so I don't back down, he knows he can't pull one on me. He does love to bark like that when he's pissed.

I am training our puppy Kittu not to disturb us while we are taking our meals. He does try to disturb us, trying to reach the dinning table.

That is a good idea. I have taught him not to sit too close to me when I am eating but once in a while he thinks that rule can be broken and of course when I tell him no he does this. He is not trying to bite he just wants his way and I am not afraid of him which he knows.
