March 31 is kept as Prom Day in the US to commemorate the experience of a typical American teenager
There are memories both for the parents and the teenagers a day that is looked forward to, planned and prepared for
We never had such a day but a send off event on the last day of school.
Would like if you could remember your day here and share it with us.
Here is a link that talks about it

@allknowing I had and went to Prom. I basically asked a girl to prom and of course she said yes! I went out and got me a tuxedo and she went and got herself a nice dress. I remember picking her up and her dad giving me the dad speech. Lol. We went out to eat before heading to Prom, me, my date and our friends rented a limousine and we headed to prom, you pretty much dance and hangout with everyone and your friends is what prom is. It was a blast and so much fun. A lot of memories.

@allknowing I noticed even in the movies how important it is, but I have the feeling that also in countries like the Philippines it's a big event.

I went to my senior prom with my boyfriend. He and his mother came down to North Carolina from New Jersey so he could attend it. It was fun.

@allknowing I met him online many years ago. I met him in person when he came down for my prom. I have been up to NJ a few times and he comes down to visit sometimes.
