And discovering that I don´t have good shoes for many occations.
My flip flops are many years old and past washing. I bought several new pairs, all beautiful, all the same brand (the Brazilian ones) and none as good as the old ones. I have been giving away all the other to my daughters and granddaughter but I need a decent one.
I just bought these awesome slip ins Skechers but they have a tine hard place in one of my feet so I have to wear them with stockings at least. No good for the podologist. That hard place would not matter to anyone, but my skin is now as tender as a baby´s
Then I want SHOES. Not flip flops, no sneakers. I want something a bit dressy that is not high heeled. I don´t mind paying for reasonable high prices, but I don´t have the money of the crowned heads of the world.
And there I am. There used to be so many shoes I could buy. I always was picky and my shoes were a bit expensive. But they lasted me a lot and it was worth it.
Friends, I´m old yet I still want to be decently clad. Is that a sin?

No, that's no sin. I have been seeing some good shoes on QVC and HSN. Ones made for people who have problems with their feet. They are especially made by doctors.

Buying decent shoes becomes harder and harder the older you get.

That is not a sin. You deserve to be happy and comfortable. What makes you think that it is a sin?
