I worked for only an hour or so at my flaky friend's day care this morning, but on my way there, I made a Very Clever Plan that would save me some cold hard cash today. I spied a gas station on Monument Boulevard that had Regular for "only" $4.44 per gallon. (The price at my local discount gas station is $4.79.) I made a mental note to stop there on my way home. I did so, and put in 10 gallons, saving myself $3.50. Coupled with my MyLot earnings for today, that adds up to approximately $4 in my pocket. If I were similarly frugal every day of the year, I would have an extra $1460 in my pocket, which isn't chump change. Do you try to "make" a little extra money every day? photo has nothing to do with this post It's just a couple of pairs of my coasters.

I always try to do a little something here or there. If I'm being honest. Even though I made my goal for the month yesterday, I still want to keep earning.

I'm pretty easy to please. Please myself, that is. I should reward myself for every day I DON'T get a Starbucks Frappuccino, or however it's spelled. I actually really like them on a warm day.

@rakski I used my MyLot money to buy some new guitar picks. These picks help me play faster. And without the pick slipping out of my fingers. This in turn could lead to a few extra million dollars in music revenues. Or not.

Every day I am doing all my survey sites and getting closer to cashing out on some and getting gift cards on others. I keep writing for sites like Vocal Media to bring me closer to my goals and get more payment, I also keep hunting up and down the net for other kinds of writing jobs but those are harder to find. I figure if I keep working at it I will manage very well,
