My gremlins returned my pepper...and stole my salt!

House gremlins are odd. Each has his or her own personality, and things they like to take. In my house, they are partial to guitar picks and scissors, for whatever reasons. And pliers as well.
About three months ago, my house gremlins hid my pepper from me. It was in a standard spice jar, and it had a little grinder on the top. I like fresh pepper in my food, especially my morning egg.
This morning they returned my pepper to me...and stole my salt. Fortunately I outsmarted the and found my salt...in the refrigerator.

Nope... When things aren't where they belong, I ask Pretty where she put them... She gets mad and says she puts things back but in a little while, she'll bring back whatever she carried off. She gets distracted and takes things to her bedroom with her.
Since she was little and we lived with each other, I've always told her that everything has a place and I want everything to be in it's place when I go to get it.2 people like this

@TheHorse The last time I had a problem with gremlins, it was because of a medication a doctor was "trying out" on me. I didn't like it and Pretty finally called the doctor and told him she was not letting me take it anymore. I couldn't remember one minute to the next. It was terrible.

Oh, my gremlims aren't particular about what they take, and usually, if I yell at them to "put it back!" they will.

Oh yes, certainly..their targets change by the day...today it was the chicken and mashed potato leftovers I had in the fridge.

Nope, my gremlins were left behind in Latvia. There we had incidents pretty often like my husband looking for his glasses which turned up in the freezer. One of the best incidents was losing my winter boots. It had snowed and we hadn't gone out for about three days. Then we wanted to got to the Central Market, No boots. They were found outside the front door on the stoop with snow in them, Go figure,

Scotch tape seems to be the favorite item of my gremlin. My purse is kind of a no man's land, though. My husband puts on his haze mat suit whenever he has to go in.
