It's been a minute since I made a post and now I will tell you why.
I have been working for weeks, some days are 12 hour days, changing my shirt in the car at the next work place because I didn't have time to go home and change from the last work place.
As many of you know, by previous posts, that I loved my job till I began to get taken advantage of and all I asked was for the same respect as the other two department supervisors, I never got it.
In one post I stated about things happen for a reason, I wanted to apply for a job but was to meet family for dinner but then I owed someone and they asked to meet them somewhere.....
It was the place I wanted to apply for a job!
I gave information and was told to apply online and call the next day. I did and was interviewed that evening and hired on the spot but not for what I applied for, the manager wanted me for another job because of my last 37 years of experience, business owner was one that recognized.
I have been in training for customer service/ night manager.
I thank God. Someone finally seen me.
So.... That's what I have been up to. Yes I still work part time at the old place, for how long? That has yet to be determined..... By me.
God is great!
How have y'all been doing?

I just came back to mylot myself after a long hiatus. I was selling y house which involved packing , donating and throwing things away. It took only 6 days to sell the house which was a lot less time than it took to get the house ready to sell which meant, painting and doing lots of repairs like laying new floors. I am glad I sold it as it was a lot of responsibility and was way too big. I ended up moving into a studio apartment and really downsizing. It isn’t where I expected to be but at least it is a roof over my head and I was able to keep my dogs too which is great. Anyway, welcome back and I hope you enjoy your time here on mylot.

You would make a great trainer because of the depth and breadth of your work experience, from past to present.

Thank you!
I don't know the verse or book, but in the bible it says " ye have not because ye ask not." I asked! I didn't expect it so soon.

Every staff is equal in a company,of course you should get respect as other supervisors.Don't know why they differentiate you from other departments.that's is not humanized management. In addition,12hours work time is too long, you shouldn't bear so heavy workload,we need spare time with family.your leader was wicked.

I am glad for you that you found another job, hopefully they will be better to work for. It sounds really good.
Maybe before too long you can leave the other job and just work at one, I hope so.
