The newest information about the Nashville school shooting

From what I've seen online it is being reported that the school shooter in Nashville today was a teenaged female who had 2 assault rifles as well as a handgun. 3 adult employees and 3 young children were shot and killed. The shooter herself was shot and killed by the police. So that is 7 dead Americans in one incident today and it is just another normal day in this country. This is insanity. EDITED TO UPDATE: It is now being reported that the female was 28 years old. I am a teacher. I am in a school every single day. As I posted in response to another post--I am exhausted each day by the fear of having an active shooter situation at work. I don't understand why a person's right to have a gun is more important than my right to go to work and not be killed. I will be continuing to follow this story. It is unusual in that this time it is a female teen. Typically we only hear about teenaged males or men in their early 20s. This is the 128th mass shooting in the US this year and today is only March 27th. This country's obsession with guns and acceptance of this as normal is disgusting.
