A myLotter had asked to see photos of my sister’s garden. We didn’t take so many photos last time but she did have some very lovely amaranthus plants.
These are herbaceous plants or shrubs and can be either annual or perennial depending on the species.
As a row along a path, they were pretty stunning with such bright variegated foliage.
Photo thanks to my husband.

Oh, wow! Those look good even without flowers to help them along!

@JudyEv I would love to have those growing in my yard.
I usually pick plants for our yard by the way the foliage looks because the flowers don't last very long... Of course, I love seeing/smelling the flowers but I like interesting foliage.

@JudyEv I would love to have one here in my window. I wonder if they have them at the garden place here.

@RebeccasFarm It might get too cold for them there.

@JudyEv The annual ones would probably work

@wolfgirl569 Quite possibly. I don't think they are particularly delicate.

You took me back to my garden when I had these. The plain red and green Amaranthus is edible I will soon be planting them

Wow! Those shrubs are more colorful than a tie-dyed t-shirt during the psychedelic 60's! Definitely an attention getter, lol
