Woke up to a cold morning today. 40's for now but lots of sunshine. Had coffee in the screen room with a jacket. The cats stayed for a few minutes but are back on their heating pads for now.
I was surprised to see the tulips blooming in the front garden. I have been watching the buds and knew it would be any day now. But with the cooler weather I wasn't too sure.
A nice surprise to see new blooms. Makes my day for sure. Lilacs will be blooming soon as well. Spring is full of lots of joy and happiness.
I wish you all a good day.

I love tulips but they need a lot of care in our climate

I'm glad the weather allowed the flower to bloom. Ever since my husband has been watering our lawn (he planted new grass seed) he's noticed the old stuff starting to breathe new life.

Tulips are not blooming here yet, but I have seen some daffodils, and a few hyacinths, so there's hope for spring. Tulips are so pretty, I just wish they lasted longer.

Hard rain beat mine up last year, they were only pretty for one day, then hail and hard rain, they were in shreds. I hope yours last.

Wow my lilacs will not be in bloom for a very long time! Tulips haven’t sprouted yet either but it won’t be long before the daffodils here do. I saw two new flowers in town white and yellow crocuses I think they are called. Hopefully I can get a picture of them soon they don’t last long I don’t think.

Thanks, my tulips are like the daffodils most of the time, they pop up but no blooms I did have one bloom last year as I had planted one done at the mailbox, but the squirrel ate the bulb down there the next time I planted one. Or it may have been a vole..something hangs around down there.

I look forward to the lilacs each spring. Mmm. I can almost smell them. I found some aerosol spray with the lilac fragrance at the $ store and I have to break down and spray it occasionally.
