It is rare for my city has the earthquake since we don't locate in the earthquake zone. However, just now I felt an earthquake and it was quite obvious. Later the news said it was an 3.6 magnitude earthquake. It is a minor earthquake and I don't think it will bring any damages. However, such kind of minor earthquakes happened a few times before. This seems to be a bit active. Especially not long time ago there was a big earthquake in Turkey. I really think the earthquake happens more often.

HK also does not locate in the earthquake zone. I experienced earthquake when I visited Japan years ago. It was scary.

In Romania, there was a lot of earth activity, too. There were a few earthquakes in a short period of time, luckily, not too powerful ones.

@youless a week after the tragic earthquakes in Turkey, there were several earthquakes in Romania, too, the biggest having a magnitude of 5,7.

Stay safe, we are located near a faultline here. It is funny you write this, as I am wearing an earthquake T shirt currently. It was one sold after the big quake here in 2011.

@youless No, we had a fairly large one here in 2011 and California is always having them. We aren't prone to major quakes though...except for Calif. that I know of.

@youless That's only a small part of what you hear, when our communication was cut off all the buildings were razed to the ground. We know that our earth has been around for a very long time and has experienced many changes (which used to be land into oceans).

Good that it was not a powerful one. Turkey's earthquake was a disaster. Recently, tremors were felt in North India due to earthquake of 6.6 magnitude having it's epicenter in Pakistan -: Afghanistan region.

@youless Yes, it is. I was terrified to hear the news. The next day we got the news of 6 people dying and a dozen badly injured. It was at the epicenter near Pakistan Afghanistan border
