Is by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. It was penned in 1855. It is called The Song of Hiawatha. It does not matter that it is fictional to me. When I read it, it took me away to this place and time. It is very moving. Do you know this poem and do you like it? Also, what is your favorite poem and by who?

That is one of my favorite poems. I thought about it yesterday and got out one of my poetry books to find it. I hadn’t read it in a long time but it’s still just as beautiful.

I have heard of the poem and its author, although I am not too familiar with either. Some of my favourite poetry has been what I have written I've got a couple of other favourites that were written by my sons! Otherwise, my favourite poem is Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. I do like nonsense!
