Is by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
It was penned in 1855.
It is called The Song of Hiawatha.
It does not matter that it is fictional to me.
When I read it, it took me away to this place and time.
It is very moving.
Do you know this poem and do you like it?
Also, what is your favorite poem and by who?

I have heard of the poem and its author, although I am not too familiar with either. Some of my favourite poetry has been what I have written I've got a couple of other favourites that were written by my sons!
Otherwise, my favourite poem is Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll. I do like nonsense!

I like Dr. Seuss with great fascination. Milne's Whinnie the Pooh. And easy reading with Shel Silverstein's poetry.
