It's been 2 weeks already since me and my husband decided to donate excess things in our house, used clothes, bags, shoes, and other things that we no longer use but still working. I am actually a minimalist person, I'm not an impulsive shopper and I don't normally keep things that are not useful. I rather give them to someone who wants to use it. Today, we will be turning over a big bag of assorted things to our neighbor who has a charity group. It's Thursday here guys, 1 more day before the day off!

That's wonderful. You have a great soul to be able to donate. I will try to follow your example. May your tribe increase. My hats off to you.. If everyone does so, then our world would be a better place to live in.

@Jenaisle yeah- we actually do it always-- we normally do a general cleaning of our house and the house of my parents then we set aside stuff for donation ( normally clothes ), the feeling is priceless when you share regardless if its big or small

We keep all of our donation-worthy items in storage so they'll be easy to grab whenever we get random visitors who need them.

yes, I will be decluttering soon so I can have clothes for donation. I do this two to three times a year. And since there will be a long holiday, it will be the best time to declutter

yeah- since I am going home to my hometown, we will do some decluttering and donate some stuff stored in my parents' house.
