Bamboo tree.

I saw this bamboo tree and asked my self what can be made out of bamboo tree.
All i know is that bamboo it's good for soil erosion when planted along river bank, it also provide a good shade, it's termite resistant therefore good for fencing.
Is there anyone who knows product made for bamboo?

We grow a type of bamboo called "green stripe bamboo". We eat the young shoots in the Spring. I cut them up into a lot of different foods. They're delicious.
At one time, I made a louver screen to block the sun off our front porch from older bamboo I cut from our patch and tied together then hung on oe side of the porch. It worked very well for several years.

@MGjhaud Me, too, in all of those... plus, I made a delicious bamboo shoots with cheese recipe. It tasted exactly like macaroni and cheese... Delicious!

In Indonesia, bamboo is used for building huts, for cooking rice and there are still many more.
