Fast food discontinued items

I've never been a fan of "limited-time" items. I resisted the McRib for about 30 years because of the way Mc Donald's puts it on the menu and takes it off again. I don't want to like something only to have it taken away. (although I have been taken in by Taco Bell's Nacho Fries!) But I'm easily fooled when the item is not marketed as "limited time". Now Dunkin Donuts has taken away my most recent favorite, the crossiant stuffer. I knew its time was limited when some locations started looking at me like I had two heads when I asked for it, but my closest location still had it, until this week. It was such a good food for eating in the car, since it didn't make a mess like literally everything else they have, and including chicken in it made it seem more like a meal. And let's not forget all the other things they have taken away, like salt bagels. (Probably less missed is the pepperjack bagel from around 10 years ago, but I'm still mad about that, too!) Are there any fast food or restaurant items you miss?

Yeah I wonder why they do this kind of thing..it makes no sense to me. Well, my favorite cake donut has been discontinued at Winchells over by me.

My daughter and I don't go out to eat since the pandemic began. If you can't see the people making your food, how do you know you won't get sick from getting food from them? The restaurants in my part of Missouri still make people work even if they have Covid.

Unfortunately you can get it anywhere. I've been going out to eat, the only time I got Covid was from the people at MY job that were going to work sick. The stupid thing is, it was an office job that was partially remote (2 days) and *somewhat* flexible about working from home instead of using sick days. But since the couple of them who were sick did not stay home, half the office got it. This was in January and a bunch of them also went to our holiday party knowing they were sick. Thoughtless!

@fluffysue I'm sorry that happened. I'm glad no major problems came about because they brought Covid to work with them. I'm in the high risk group and don't feel like becoming majorly sick or possibly dying because of thoughtless people. We only go outside our house to buy groceries and to go to doctor appointments and we always wear masks and wash as soon as we get home.

I never go to fast food, but there are items that disappeared from the shelves that I miss.

I cannot remember now because I was a real fan of fast food many years ago. I know that one time I was such a fan of double cheese Whoppers that I could not live without having at least two a week, Now I don't even remember the last time I had any fast food,

I cannot remember the last fast food visit I had. Except for our local Sonic for a strawberry slush. I don't miss anything.

My answer is no. Last week my hubby and I went to a local bakery/cafe. They make their own pastries. Oh my on the chocolate crossiant- gooey chocolate inside with drizzles of chocolate on the outside. Tender pastry. Worth every penny.

I don't do fast food. I'm trying to limit my going out to a restaurant. All that stuff says weight gain to me and I'm doing my best to lose weight. I miss the pounds I lost over the last two years that did come back. I'm trying to convince them to leave again.
