I just got home from the most wonderful and powerful performance I've seen in a very long time. I'm so glad my friend invited me to go to the Ballet tonight. It was the story of the Exodus. If you have ever seen the movie Prince of Egypt, they used the music from the movie. It was spectacular! The Ballet Magnificat is not local. It's based in Mississippi. If you ever have an opportunity to see one of their productions, it is worth your time and money. It didn't cost much. It was well done. I can't say enough about the dancers or the performance. Magnificent! With the story of Moses and the freedom of Israel from slavery, the performance led into our freedom through Jesus Christ and the freedom He gave us through the cross from slavery to sin. My friend has a granddaughter in the local dance group that performed in the first part of the program. All the dancers were awesome! Cameras weren't allowed, so I don't have a picture of the performance to share with you. I'm glad my friend drove. It has been raining all day and was pouring on the way home. I would not have been able to drive in the dark or the rain. Have you seen a live performance that left you in awe? Thanks for reading. It's my bedtime.
