A long-winded tale of woe (sort of)

You all should know by now that I do cross-stitch and that I'm working on a large scene of a castle. I'm switching from keeping my flosses wrapped around cards to just putting the skeins into those little snack size baggies. So I was stitching with 3021 on a card and ran out. I went to Michael's to get some more but they were all out of it, too. So I asked my sister if she had any, she did, and she would mail it to me... came in today's post. I only expected one skein but she sent three. Now this is where the =dohs!= come in. I put the floss my sister sent me into an appropriately labeled baggie and went to park it in with all the other colors I need for this project, only to find I already had two skeins in a baggie! So now I've gone from not having the color I needed to having five. Those gremlins pulled an April Fool's prank on me. Yeah, it was gremlins...
