Wednesday Morning Brief

Good morning from a wet Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It was a beautiful night last night. The sky lit up almost non-stop with lightning. I love thunder and lightning storms, especially at night. Daytime not so much because the lightning effect isn't there to enjoy.
Today will be a busy day again today. I have an exercise class in less than half an hour. Then I need to go shopping. I need to fill in the holes in Mother Hubbard's cupboard. I also have rock painting today. I talked with my proofreader last night. She doesn't have the manuscript ready, but will soon. She was almost finished with it. By the way, she loves it!
So, with all that, I should get my steps easier than yesterday.
My grandson will also be here sometime today. I expect he works, so it should be after I get home from rock painting.
I also need to get the Bingo numbers today, so that will be a 'good' walk. As long as I don't get blown away by the almost 50 mph winds this afternoon. Then there's prayer tonight.
So, yes, busy. My friend was just here delivering the leg of lamb. The label on it says it came from Australia. It came a far piece to make it to my table for Easter dinner.
Those are my plans, busy. How is your day shaping up? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. I saw a couple of ducks swimming in the neighbor's yard yesterday when I was leaving the church after Bible study. Lots of snowmelt.

We have storms moving in this evening. I hope it cools things off a bit, and are without tornadoes. Wow your lamb did travel far to get to your kitchen. Laundry is almost done here. Not much else going on. The wind is picking up now.

I hope you won't have tornadoes with the storms tonight. It's good to have the laundry done.
Our wind is really blowing out there. I went out to get the Bingo numbers when I got home. The wind hadn't started, but by the time I got to the first building, the wind had started. It was a 'fun' walk home against the wind.

I'm tired just reading all that you have planned to do today 
I'm just sitting here with my coffee all comfy and really don't want to do much today but, I do have to do a quick vacuuming and dusting does seem to go hand in hand when I vacuum. Other than that I found some yarn that I forgot I had so I'm going to start a new project.
Hope your proofreader gets your book back soon so you can get it off to the publisher. You know I'm looking forward to reading it.
That leg of lamb did travel a long way for your Easter table.

My grandson will be here for Easter dinner. He can't make it tonight. I have the manuscript sitting at my elbow on the desk. I can't wait until I start getting into the corrections she found. As marked up as it is, I have my work cut out for me. Nothing serious. Some typos, but nothing major. Which is good. She LOVED the book.
I asked my friend what I could give her for the lamb as it was not cheap. She said she'll take a copy of Where Eagles Soar as soon as it's published. 
You had such a busy day! I only have prayer yet tonight. I have the groceries, my new rocks are sitting on my knickknack shelf. I need to take pictures of them, and I have all my steps. I'm on my way to 10K with all the walking I did today with shopping and rock painting.

When I put out the trash this morning at 7:30 it was darkish and I heard rumbles of thunder. Rain and lightning is expected but the sun is making a valiant effort to burn off the clouds. May get up to 17°C/63°F.
I suppose I should get dressed and do a bit more yard work. I try to do a little bit every day so as not to tire myself out. It's still only 6°C/43°F at 10am.

Good news on your manuscript. Busy day ahead. Lamb for Easter, huh? Nice.
We had a storm yesterday. Snow for about ten minutes. Then windy and colder than it has been.

I have my manuscript back. I have a lot to do, it looks like. She said she loved it.
Yes, it was a busy day. I only have prayer left in an hour.
Definitely five for dinner. My grandson just called. He can't make it tonight but will be here on Sunday for dinner.
