I can't use Google Chrome on my laptop because it uses too much CPU

I used mylot on my new laptop. The processor was used 100%. I wonder if it's a weak processor or Google Chrome is the problem. When processor is at 100% the laptop is slow and I have to wait. Now I am using Microsoft Edge and it's much better. Mylot works fast on Microsoft Edge. On my phone mylot was much faster. On my laptop with Google Chrome with only one tab open my processor usage is 100%. This is weird. Do you have the same problem? I have 16 GB ram.

It is definitely something else is faulty in your system . If not get your machine scanned with some anti virus software.

@dya80dya Oh yes, that's something slipped my mind. Did you find the problem yourself?

That's why, you have standard ram for a pc, but Chrome is an energy hog. Plus, Windows makes it next to impossible to use other browsers, because they want you to use theirs. Edge works just fine, though.

@dya80dya Glad to hear it. Extensions are great, but use only what you need, if you need it.

I solved this problem. I had too many extensions installed. I uninstalled all of them and now it seems like a new laptop. It works very well.

Why don't you shutdown and restart it close chrome completely and reopen it. It sounds strange!
