Dude i read the book and saw the movie too...
Dan Brown 's novels are usually his trademark thrillers with lots of reallife info in them...
'The Da Vinci Code' is one book which catapulted him to instant fame even among people who are not really into novels...
As for the book...controversies remain controversies all the time...this theory he wrote in the book about the Holy Grail was always there...and Dan Brown made big bucks by using this controversy as the central concept in his novel...

I like the book. I don't like the movie. Much from the book make sense. Church was secretly hide so much for so long, anything can be real.

I read the book and saw the movie. I loved both. Wether true or not it gives you a lot to think about. I also read his book Angels and Demons which is a prequel to the Da Vinci Code. It was also very good. I couldn't put it down.

I read this book last year, I liked it so much. Dan Brown is a very good writer, he is able to provoke in the people who read his books a lot of different emotions. He wrote also a lot of false information, but it was good for the novel. I have also seen the movie, it was good but it has not reproduced all the vicissitudes written on the book.
