It’s a little after 4 pm on my end, and I’m just getting started on today’s tasks. I had therapy this morning, and then I was taking some time for myself, so I’m slightly behind on things. But that’s okay.
Today, I’m proofreading a 2,000-word order I completed last week. My client didn’t want it submitted before Easter because they wouldn’t have had time to look at it, so I’m taking care of that and sending the next custom order (on Fiverr) today.
Once I’m finished proofreading, I’m going to post elsewhere and take care of other tasks on my to-do list.
I would like to get to bed right after WWE Raw, so it’d be nice to have everything on my to-do list finished before it goes off at 11 pm.
Anywho, that’s really all I have to say for now. I hope you’re all doing well. Stay safe and take care. :)

So you like WWE? I’m not into it much but the participants are characters for sure!

I'm glad to see that you're doing better than you were before with your anxiety. I can definitely relate. What amazes me is that even though you may be going through with your mental illness, you still tend be pretty consistent here on this platform. I have my issues with mental illness as well, but when I'm going through I can totally shut down for long periods of time. I feel that I did almost nothing for my freelance business all of 2022. I suffer from bi-polar disorder, and my ups and downs vary. Mostly I've noticed that i have seasonal depression. I'm very affected by the elements around me whether it be people, places, and/or things. This comes from discovering that I'm an empath. I'm still learning on how to cope with this "label" of "empath" and how to let some things go instead of holding emotions in. A good supportive network of people in my life is very important for me to cope socially. I tend to isolate, though. It's having those people who are there to reach out when I do isolate that keeps me balanced... Continue to push through. You inspire me to do the same.

Thank you so much for your comment.
"I feel that I did almost nothing for my freelance business all of 2022."
I FEEL THIS. It's so hard to evaluate the next steps, make changes, and reach goals when your anxiety is telling you that everything is hopeless. My work is slowly picking back up, and my new meds have been working, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm just glad I decided to focus on the meds, therapy, etc. FIRST and then take care of the freelance-related stuff because I knew I didn't have the headspace to do so. I had to take a writing quiz to get back to my star level on one site, and I had put it off until I felt ready.
I totally get it. While I'd reach out instead, having people that were there with an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on definitely helped. I have a therapist and psychiatrist, but I still needed my actual support system, and they were there for me. Especially since unlike the last time my anxiety had gotten this bad, my parents are no longer with us, so losing that level of support made it worse.
How are you doing now? I'm slow at responding, but you're welcome to inbox me if you ever need to get anything off your chest, but no pressure. I know how much anxiety and depression can suck.

@tammys85 My condolences on losing your parents. That's tough... But on the good side, you're learning how to take care of yourself first. That's important.
I'm doing much better. I have a wonderful primary care physician. She's great! I just went in yesterday for a wellness check and I'm hoping things are all good from my blood work results. If not, I'll just do what I gotta do to improve. My main focus is to stay well for my daughter. As long as I'm good, so will she be. I'm teaching her to be more independent as she continues onto adulthood. She'll be 20 on Saturday. I don't know if I you know that my daughter is on the autism spectrum. (Not sure if I wrote a discussion here about her issues or just answered comments on it) She's high functioning, but due to her condition she would be considered a "late bloomer" in laymen's terms. So it's a double whammie that I have to deal with here at home. My main issue is patience when things aren't going the way I would like. I've been an over-achiever all my life, and my family has always had high expectations for me. I feel that's what may have provoked my first "manic" episode when I was 14 years old dealing with achieving well during my freshman year in high school. But that's another discussion to delve in another time.
For sure I will continue to reach out through inbox. Thanks for the continued support.
