Confusion, Who Wrote What?

Sometimes, on myLot, I get really confused. I read so many posts and answers that I start imagining that I wrote someone else's post. A few minutes ago, I encouraged several people to tell us all about a strange experience they had. I hope that author appreciates my efforts to get him/her responses to the discussion.
Do you ever think you wrote another person's post? Do you tell his/her readers to respond?

@LadyDuck Yes. It was perfectly clear for those who didn´t know. I don´t know what to make of this post.

I don´t understand quite well. I know perfectly well what I have written as it has to do with my life.

@Laurakemunto when you answer a lot of posts that you have written about before, it gets confusing sometimes.

Im not sure I fully understood what you meant. I've gotten a few suggestions to read a few posts, but that's it.

@RebeccasFarm It is great. I love myLot. It is a big talk-a-thon and discussion site. I love talking to people from other countries and learning about their cultures and lives.

The way the answers to a post are way down the page somewhere makes it very confusing and sometimes I think I am responding to one person and it pops up to someone else. It makes it hard to remember if you commented on a certain post when you come back to answer something.

No. I know what I post. We cannot ask readers to respond. It's against the rules.

You are misunderstanding what I mean. I get people to respond by asking questions or asking them to tell us more about something. I like to use open-ended questions. Also, I make very subtle changes that lead to more responses in a slightly different direction.

I usually do that but some confuse me. I was just on the same thread earlier today and still had the feeling that I wrote it. I have not felt that way about most threads. I don't know what it is about this one. We must be on the same wavelength or something.

@Shivram59 I also have been away from here for long stretches of time. I don't know why, it just happens.

I never give it much thought when I write a post. I am sure I have probably covered a similar topic. At the end of the day even if I did do that, it's still MY post. Not theirs. Since I would expect I'd present the topic in a way that is unique to me and my perspective.

I always look and make a follow up on discussions that I have written to avoid confusion
