After a very long vacation

Last week was a very long Holiday because of the Holy week celebrations here so it was declared holiday starting Thursday(our company declared Wednesdays as rest day already). And since April 9 was also a National Holiday and Sunday the government declared Apr 10 as non-working too so no work on Thursday to Monday. My family decided to find a place to stay and enjoy the holiday away from home. We found this nice resort hidden away from the rest and their theme was Balinese as they do have large statues and sculptures that are very Balinese. We stayed there Saturday until Monday. It was a very restful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Trees were everywhere and you can only hear the winds or birds chirping aroung.

That's wonderful. It is always good to retreat from bustling city life to relax and just enjoy the peace and calm of suburban scenic places.

True a place where it is appropriate with the times as it was holy week so we find a place with no distractions from everything.

@allen0187 yes, a good thing the resort we checked in wasn't that known we were fully booked but the crowd was manageable and was not that crowded inside. When we left and went home the highways were not yet full so travel was still smooth.

@rsa101 it was not so bad in the city. Everyone went to the provinces. The city was quiet and there was no traffic at all.

@toniganzon Yeah I guess it is different from the rest indeed. Not that fancy type but plain nature and unique design.

Yes it was themed differently from most resorts. Although they are old already.

Resorts hidden away from the rest are always a good choice in my opinion. Sounds like paradise.

That is true although sometimes it gets using too especially if you are used to living in a city where you hear everything in the streets. In here its the complete opposite there is no sound at all and vehicles passing by are very minimal.
