Am I a housewife?

Today on the news they said it would be 40°, so take advantage of doing some laundry. And it dried up instantly. I was also doing some activities at home.
I never thought I'd be good at being a housewife. In fact, I thought I'd be terrible at it.
But, a great skill has been awakened in me. It's impressive.
And you? how was your day?

Sometimes we don't think much of our capabilities but when the situation calls for it, we find ourselves doing our best.
It's Thursday here and I'm feeling a bit lazy so I'm still in bed.

I am glad you are a good housewife. I worked with my husband forty hours each week. Now that we are retired we both do all of the housework.
