Stupid anti-Budweiser and anti-Nike protests

MAGA nuts have been blowing up Twitter (and I assume Truth Social) with pictures and videos of themselves shooting beer cans and burning sports bras. This reminds me of the anti-Nike sentiment several years ago after they had an ad campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick. People are literally going out, buying Bud Light beer, and then filming themselves shooting at it in their backyards. They are setting their sports bras on fire. For what? It isn't hurting the companies. Like you're literally giving the company money to buy the beer that you then want to emphatically throw away or shoot. You want to burn your bra? Okay. The only person you are punishing is yourself when you need to buy a new one. I was faced with this dilemma years ago when Mario Batali's history of sexual assault was exposed. People were throwing away his cookbooks because they were upset with his behavior. He is probably my favorite celebrity cook and chef on TV. . . even still. I like his recipes. I already paid for the 5 Batali cookbooks I own. He already has the $$. Throwing them away would be a punishment to myself. So I've kept them for these years and I still use them regularly. Look, I get wanting to protest and express disapproval of a company's actions. It is just amusing to me how these idiots are trying to punish these companies. Ooooh let me buy a 12 pack and then film myself throwing it in a dumpster!
