Wish everyone happy bengali new year

The bengali new year is there in 2023. I wish everyone in every part of the world happy bengali new year. It is called poila baisakh. Baisakh is the bengali first month having resemblance with summer month. It is really hot in Calcutta with temperature of 40 degree celsius.

I feel such compassion for the heat. Even though you are used to the climate, some temperatures there are mind boggling.
Anyway, Happy Bengali New Year thanks Dr. It will soon be hot here. It was 90F the past days, but that is cool I know compared to your place.

Greetings on the Bengali New Year.
In Punjab and surroundings, people celebrate Baisakhi which is a festival to celebrate harvesting, I think of Wheat.
And we have similar celebrations at some places in Southern India as well.
