Plenty of green

The photo should show my basket garden. Most of that basket is filled with pretty green weeds. There is a good sized pansy, though and a couple of sweet pea vines trying to head toward the light. There are also are round leafed nasturtiasms in there. Curiosity sometimes harms a cat and sometimes causes a nosy friend to help us out. I guess one set of nosy friends is bringing over stuff that we left with another friend. The nosy pair have stuff in a storage locker over here so they figured they would go on a road trip tomorrow and while they were at it, bring our stuff and get a good look at our old house. Yup. I'm not only going to the pool this afternoon but I'm also clearing tables and such of things that belong in the recycling bin or trash or a drawer. Can't do that to the cats so they have to behave. (Peter grabbed a can lid and ran it into the closet this morning. I got the sharp lid away from him, sat down and bingo. He'd grabbed hubby's unopened bag of jelly beans and tossed that onto the floor.) Got to love living with an ambitious kitten.

I used to have a huge pansy and pretty blue morning glory in a basket on the front porch. I would say "good morning" to the morning glory on my dash to the car back in my working days. You should lose some major weight cat ranglin'. Haha!

@celticeagle You're right. I can start on the "cat ranglin'" diet. Good idea. Thanks.

His cousin Tuffy likes to do stuff like that, he drags anything he has a mind to around and puts it under closed door then starts trying to retrieve it. He stops doing anything the minute he sees me go for the phone, the lil varmint is too smart for me.

@rebelann Politely put, Beau from time to time refuses to remember that he is neutered. Peter is not a big kitty. Both him and Beau wanted to sit in a cushy chair so they sat side by side until Beau wrapped his arms around Peter. Ah hem......

It is a pretty basket indeed. Glad you got that lid away from Peter, that could have been a disaster.

You're having an eventful day. I hope it's sunny there like it is here.

@JamesHxstatic Yes. Warm enough that I'm noticing how unruly the grass looks.

That pansy is a very pretty colour. It sounds like you have to keep a good eye on Peter.

I like your basket garden. We are getting our weedy front flower bed landscaped. Finally! Our fur babies get into all kinds of mischief, don't they?

What a pretty photo. Green always says healthy to me in the garden. Pretty color on this pansy too. My cats have been enjoying the sunshine in the screen room.
