activated charcoal and regular charcoal are different because their processing is not the same. regular charcoal is made by burn wood or other organic thing without air but activated charcoal made by heating bamboo or coconut shell in the presence of gas that causes the charcoal develop many small pores and increased surface area. This process creates highly porous material with adsorptive properties that can bind to and remove toxins and impurities. regular charcoal used for cooking and heating, while activated charcoal has many uses like teeth whitener, digestive issues remedy and emergency medicine
activated charcoal is generally considered safe, it can interact with certain medications and should not be taken without consulting a healthcare professional. it can also cause constipation or interfere with nutrient absorption if taken in excessive amounts.

a few years ago, activated charcoal was also very popular here, many brands released variants containing activated charcoal, I never consumed 100% charcoal, usually I only consumed those containing activated charcoal, did you feel any benefit after consuming it?
