Avoiding COVID when you live with a relative seems almost impossible

I am so tired of ventilating, wearing two masks at home, keeping distance. I am thinking to stop all these. My mom can't stay in the same room isolated. She is spending time in the entire house. Tomorrow it's Easter and she cleaned the house. Trying to avoid the virus is too stressful. Until now I didn't have symptoms, but I can't do this for 10 days. I feel exhausted.

@RebeccasFarm She feels better, but she can still spread the disease. She tested positive today.

You have to realize, that all the measures you're trying to take to avoid COVID are the same you would if you had anything considered "contagious". You should not treat COVID any different than you would the flu, chicken pox or any other virus. Because regardless of the virus, the risk remains the same. You will either get sick, or you won't. You could spread it or pick up it from anywhere. And, so on. So, yes, go about your life as normal, because there's no "right" thing to do.

COVID is scary and it has severe symptoms. My mom has it and she preferred to die instead of suffering so much. I had it too and flu is nothing compared to COVID. It is severe and scary, at least for me and my mom. Maybe other people have no symptoms.

@dya80dya It's only scary if you allow it to be. Most people will feel like it's a real bad flu. The key is not to be afraid of it.

@kaylachan I had several health issues one after another. I don't want another disease. It's difficult to avoid fear. Last week I was sick, this week I have flu. Covid will be too much. My health is already poor.

Sorry you are going through al this trouble, I hope you will not come down with COVID, Despite everything I hope you all have a nice Orthodox Easter. My mother-in-law in Latvia was Orthodox she has us celebrating both Easter and Orthodox Easter, That was a tiring time for me,

This means that it's possible to avoid it. Did he wear a mask? We wear masks, we ventilate the rooms several times each day.

It's hard to avoid this illness when you have to live with many other tenants in one place too But I hope everyone is okay.
