Thanks to the football and soccer players who are enrolled in the University of New Mexico (UNM) with "Project Heart Start" which happened on Saturday morning at the Aggie Memorial Stadium in Alburquerque over 500 persons pre-registered for the event that was free of charge to learn the methods of using cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) methods in order to save lives of victims of who are in need of assistance. The session last three hours with the sports stars being teachers using the techniques of using first aid to the spectators as a way of giving back to their communities. In my opinion sharing the good deeds of sports stars in the college setting is better than reporting the indiscretions of the sports stars. Link is koob.com/new-mexico/lob...

@rakski I agree with you that these kinds of stories are basically regional stories that does not make the main events newscasts on television.

That was a great project. CPR is an excellent thing to know how to do; and the fact that it was free was even better.

I am in agreement with you the CPR must have been started recently since when I was in school in the 1970s there were no CPR programs.
