I would wish this on my worst enemy at all. A male cat who resides in Swansea Massachusetts had the bad luck of having his head stuck through a drain grate opening last Wednesday afternoon.
A concerned citizen contacted the local police, the local highway department and animal control who worked as a team to take the cat to the Mass-Ri Veterinarian ER where the veterinarians were able to free the cat from his predictament.
The best part of this story is that the cat was reunited with his owner.

Good thing the cat was rescued. Curious as to how it got there in the first place.

That is a mystery how the cat got his head stuck in the storm drain myself whether it was a criminal act or an accident. At least the cat is safe and reunited with his owner.

I am wondering how the cat was trapped in the storm drain myself. Thank goodness the cat is safe and sound and back with his owner.

I felt sorry for the cat myself that he was stuck in a storm drain before he was rescued by the authorities and had the object removed from his head.
