A Fast Walk Made Me Think of Fats Domino

Saturday, the weather was just right for a nice fast walk. So, I glanced at the time and headed out the door. I went farther and faster than I intended and lot of songs popped into my head, including, "I'm Walkin' " by Fats Domino.
Fats was born in 1928 in the southern state of Louisiana & died in 2017 and d of natural causes at age 89. During his long music career, he sold 65 million records and had many great hits, like "Blueberry Hill," "Ain't That A Shame" & the one I mentioned above along with many others.
He was a great entertainer and I wish I could have seen him.
Pat Boone made Fats a lot of money by recording some of his hits for a mostly white audience. (Boone sold only 38 million records).
You can listen to "I'm Walkin" and many others on YouTube.

Was a big one for him. But get this, that song had been previously recorded by Gene Autry!!

Fats probably couldn’t rock white bucks, but he didn’t have to.
Love Fats Domino, and yes, that’s a great song to walk to!!!

Right, that was all Boone had going for him. I can't believe I bought his record of Ain't That A Shame! I am ashamed, blame it on my youth.

@JamesHxstatic - I think so. I only agreed to go walking not to let my husband go alone, but I was later happy I went.

Funny how that can happen. Movement can improve mood and energy level.

As Richie Cunningham said on Happy Days, "I've found my freedom, on Blueberry Hill!" It appears you were on a "Long and Winding Road."
