I am not one bit good at crafts. Today I bought this bench for a cheap price. It appears to be pretty sturdy. I think it needs new paint. A new color. And yes, dusted off. Paint brush or little roller? Spray paint? Varnish?? I looked and listened to Youtube videos about rehabbing furniture. Such slap dash know it all explanations! Grab a transfer and slap it on and tah dah. Done. About gave me heart failure. Not my level of doing.
The bench sits in my back porch. Whenever we get honest to goodness warm weather without a drenching rain I plan to haul it out back for a sit in the sun time. For now its a back porch item. For fun I included Peter kitten in the photo.
Note: computer is being fiesty and did not want to give me the photo. I think I won.

I wouldn't mind finding a good bench fairly cheap to use in our back yard. I hope you enjoy yours.
