I never learn with cat toys

My second mom gave the cats a Christmas present a couple of years ago. Adso absolutely LOVED a white mouse that chirped and made noise. He would play fetch with that thing for like 30 minutes at a time. I have no idea which object it has been lodged under for well over a year now but it is a goner until I whenever I move out of here. I ordered him a couple of hummingbird toys that chirp and that have feathers. He LOVES those too. . . to the point that they also disappeared over time. Yesterday I was looking for one of my Mexican "evil eye" bracelets to wear to the baby shower. It usually is sits on top of one of my dressers but was nowhere to be found so I figured that one of the cats had knocked it behind the thing. I pulled it out and found bracelets, cloth masks (remember them?), and 3 hummingbird cat toys. I tossed the toys down the hallway and figured Adso would be happy to find them. He was! At 2 am! He even dropped one next to my head in bed as if I was going to give it back to the little punk while I was trying to sleep. I will have to make a point of collecting them tonight before I head to bed.

Cats will be cats. And humans will be compliant with their wishes.

My Freddie went crazy for the scrunchies I no longer wear and for a while there were colorful round circles all over the place. Then he tired of them and now and then I will discover a colorful scrunchie in places I least would expect one,

Nico had one of those kinds of toys. He pulled the wings off it. He is almost as big a toy destroyer as Jax used to be.
