Women really are the other half of the sky, as I whisper at the beginning of the song. It's a 'we' or it ain't anything. ------------------John Lennon I don't want to alarm you but I have no choice. Generalissimo Chuck Lorre and the Imperial Forces of The Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) have enlisted another Ally. Max. The rebranded merger of HBO Max and Discovery+. That's right. The War On The Heartland Of America just got twice as big. First, it was Stephen Colbert ((There's an article linked below in case you need to have your memory refreshed on that)) and now it's "The Big Bang Theory." More specifically, a spinoff of "Big Bang." Word on the street corner of Hollywood And Vine is that it will center on the character Paige from "Young Sheldon"----The GIRL who is even smarter than Sheldon. Can you think of anything worse? It's bad enough that she exists at all as a supporting character on a show but to give her her own series??? Girls are supposed to be seen! Not heard! They are supposed to just look pretty with a head full of nothing! In the kitchen or at some low-paying job. Barefoot. Chained to the stove! And dumb! With no thoughts or opinions beyond, "What should I make for dinner?" They are not to be given their own TV show! They should also never be seen as smart! And when they are somehow smart, they are supposed to be discouraged from showing it, not encouraged to embrace it by watching fictional characters like Paige! Real Girls should be continually reminded that they have fathers, brothers, boyfriends, bosses and husbands ((And when it comes to Healthcare, their elected representatives)) to do their thinking for them! What in the name of Edith Bunker is going on here??? But don't be too discouraged. The Heartland Of America is fighting back! And it will win! #Winning #GirlsAreDumb #Trump2024 ************** Television Culture Rush Limbaugh blasts CBS for hiring Stephen Colbert, says war has been declared on the 'heartland of America' Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has blasted CBS for giving the Late Show to Stephen Colbert, the comedian who made his name playing a right-wing blowhard partially based on Limbaugh.
