I once played the guitar

Back in college, I used to sing The Guitar Man by Bread, You've Got a Friend by James Taylor, Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer, and other guitar songs. Sometimes, I joined musical contests too with my guitar. Yes, I knew then how to play the guitar. But it has been decades since I touched a guitar. I also loved the sound of the violin and the bagpipes. I find them mesmerizing. However, I didn't know how to play them. What about you? Have ever played a musical instrument? What's your favorite musical instrument to hear?

I have played guitar and piano neither very well, because I never achieved any real skill level. Guitar I quit because my sister ran over my nice one with the car, case and all.I had in the garage.(Besides I found it nearly impossible to tune) When I was complaining about the accident, all she said was, "What was it doing there?" .

@Jenaisle I had a guitar since then. I don't have a lot of hand dexterity. I don't think I am really meant to be a guitarist although I do know some chords and could probably play a bit if I wanted to.

@snowy22315 That's good enough. I myself hadn't mastered the art of plucking.

The sad guitar story. It must have been depressing. Have you never picked it up again?

I learned guitar from my cousin but it was just basic and for beginner only. It was fun. I also study piano but basic only too not advance skill. I would love to learn musical instruments but it's hard sometimes

That's good enough, at least you tried and know now what you want to play. It relaxes you just to tinker with these instruments.

All those are great tunes which I have on my playlists! I enjoy listening to a banjo. Also, Odd instruments in rock/pop music can be appealing. Like the flute, or an oboe, or mellotron anything out of the ordinary. I tried guitar but did not have the discipline to stick with it.

That's great. All of Me is a good guitar song. Voices can be developed. It's not too late to try again. You're still young.
